The Philippine Porcine Practitioners, Inc (PPPI), the most prestigious professional swine organization in the country held its first exclusive continuing education initiative and invited Ceva Animal Health (Philippines) as its knowledge partner.
The first Swine Key Opinion Leader (KOL) expert panel meet was spearheaded by Dr. Michael Quilitis, Veterinary Technical Services (VTS) Manager last March 14 at the Eugenio Lopez Center in Antipolo City. The sessions were ably facilitated by the Asia Swine Veterinary Services Manager, Dr. Metta Makhanon and supported by the local Ceva team and Dr. Mark Mombarg, Asia Swine Franchise Manager.
Discussions were lively as the various topics on Porcine Respiratory Disease Complex (PRDC), Porcine Circovirus (PCV) and Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) were tackled. Dr. Zoilo Lapus, a respected senior veterinarian commented that the topics were “very informative” and “practical”. The high engagement level and learnings were well appreciated by the group. The PPPI has invited Ceva Philippines to conduct a follow-up learning session within 2018.
